Scope and effective date
Effective date: [ADD PUBLICATION DATE]. These Subscription Terms apply to paid vendor advertising and listing plans on ShopCantonOnline.com. They supplement our Terms of Use and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Subscriptions are for each SCO business, not merely for each WordPress login. One account may manage more than one business and each business may have a separate plan.
Plans and currency
Current plan names include FREE, Basic, Starter, Shop, Large Shop, and Enterprise. The latest applicable prices, allowances, billing intervals, and features are shown on the pricing/upgrade and checkout screens. Prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Basic is offered on an annual basis in the initial plan structure; other paid plans may offer monthly and annual options. Taxes, if applicable, will be shown before payment.
Product listing limits and promotional/booth photo limits are distinct. Product photos do not count against promotional photo allowances. Video allowances refer to approved externally hosted embeds, not video files stored by SCO.
30-day free trial
Where offered and eligible, a 30-day free trial provides access to the selected paid plan during the disclosed trial period. Trial eligibility is generally limited to one trial per business, subject to manual review and exceptions.
For automatic online subscriptions, you authorize a payment method when enrolling. The checkout screen must disclose the actual trial start and end dates, first charge date, price, billing interval, and how to cancel. No subscription fee is charged during the free trial.
Unless canceled before the first charge, the selected recurring amount will be charged when the trial ends and automatically at each subsequent monthly or annual renewal. A trial does not extend indefinitely if payment authorization fails.
Before billing is launched, SCO may display plan-selection information without enabling paid checkout. A displayed plan-selection control by itself does not establish a paid subscription.
Automatic renewal and cancellation
By expressly authorizing a paid subscription at checkout, you agree to recurring charges at the disclosed amount and interval until canceled. We will provide a straightforward online cancellation method in the vendor billing/account area when recurring checkout is activated.
Cancel during the trial before the displayed first billing date to avoid the initial subscription charge. Cancel after a payment to stop future renewals; the paid plan generally continues until the end of the paid term, subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
Cancellation confirmation and effective date will be communicated electronically. Removing a WordPress account or deleting a product is not a substitute for canceling an active subscription.
Payment failures and plan changes
We may notify you of a failed payment and allow a grace period of up to seven days before suspending paid entitlements or reverting the business to FREE, subject to the checkout terms and applicable law. We will not knowingly create duplicate charges for the same renewal.
On downgrade, SCO aims to retain existing product and gallery records rather than delete them, but published visibility and ability to add/publish more content may be limited by the lower tier. Specific handling of over-limit published items will be disclosed before automated downgrades go live.
Upgrades and changes to billing interval will show the applicable next charge, effective date, and any proration or credits before confirmation; no proration rule is promised until implemented.
Manual cash and check subscriptions
SCO may accept cash or check payments arranged directly with its administrator. Such plans are recorded manually and do not authorize recurring card charges.
For cash or cleared checks, the paid term and renewal date will be recorded and communicated. Checks may be marked pending until cleared. Manual subscriptions require a new payment or explicit renewal arrangement at the end of the prepaid term.
Any manual promotional trial or complimentary extension must be approved and documented by SCO administration.
Receipts, promotions and featured listings
Payment confirmations or receipts will be sent or made available where feasible and required. You are responsible for keeping your billing email current.
Featured-product placement, if offered, is purchased separately rather than included as an automatic entitlement in a subscription tier. Any price, duration, placement limitations, and refund terms will be disclosed before purchase.
