SCO is a directory, advertising, discovery, and mapping service connecting shoppers with independent sellers. Except where expressly stated for SCO vendor subscriptions, SCO does not act as the merchant of record for merchandise purchased from vendors’ external stores.
Independent vendors and shopper transactions
Vendors, not SCO, are responsible for their products, prices, inventory, descriptions, authenticity, condition, order acceptance, payment processing, fulfillment, shipping, returns, warranties, customer service, and sales taxes on their own sales.
Clicking an external purchase link may take you to a third-party site whose terms and privacy policy apply. SCO does not guarantee product availability, sales, fulfillment, or a vendor’s statements.
Market booth assignments and maps are provided to assist discovery. Hours, physical locations, booth availability, directions, and coordinates may change. Verify important details with the vendor.
Accounts and business claims
Provide accurate account information and protect your credentials. Google or other social sign-in may be offered through external providers.
Claims of existing business listings and requests to register new businesses require review. Do not falsely claim ownership or access to another business. Permission to manage a business can be suspended or removed.
Each SCO business may be subject to an assigned vendor plan and its published limits. A paid plan does not create ownership rights over SCO software or guarantee search rankings, traffic, sales, or visibility at a particular position.
Listings and acceptable use
You must have rights to the images, descriptions, logos, videos, and other content you submit. Do not post illegal, deceptive, infringing, unsafe, harassing, or prohibited items or content.
Do not scrape SCO in violation of applicable law or our technical restrictions, disrupt the service, misuse user information, manipulate Favorites or analytics, bypass plan limits, or impersonate another vendor.
SCO may review, decline, modify, hide, or remove content or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to protect the service or comply with law.
Content license and feedback
You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to others’ rights. You grant SCO a nonexclusive, worldwide license to host, reproduce, display, resize, and distribute that content as needed to provide and promote your listings and the SCO service while that content is active, and as reasonably needed for backups and compliance.
You confirm you have obtained needed permissions from owners, photographers, and people pictured. Contact us to report suspected infringement.
AI-generated assistance
The AI Listing Assistant offers suggestions, not verified facts, professional appraisals, or guarantees. Vendors must review and correct titles, categories, condition, pricing, authenticity, and all claims before publishing.
Availability, models, and limits for AI functionality may change.
Plans, billing and promotions
Paid plans, free trials, renewals, cancellation, and refunds are governed by our Subscription Terms (https://shopcantononline.com/subscription-terms/) and Refund & Cancellation Policy (https://shopcantononline.com/refund-policy/) when subscription billing launches.
Any special promotions or complimentary plans may have stated eligibility and expiry terms. Featured-product advertising, if offered, is an optional separate service with its own clearly disclosed price and duration.
Disclaimers and liability
SCO is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated, including uninterrupted availability, accuracy of third-party listings, or business outcomes.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SCO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from service use or independent vendor transactions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes, termination and disputes
We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised version. Material changes affecting paid subscribers will be communicated as required by law or applicable agreement.
You may stop using SCO and request account closure. Ending an account does not automatically refund prior charges or cancel a subscription unless the cancellation process is completed.
These Terms are intended to be interpreted under applicable United States and Texas law, without overriding mandatory protections available to users elsewhere. Contact us first to seek an informal resolution.
